Côt (or Malbec) is made from grapes grown on 5 plots: Chesnay, Bel-Air, La Rochère, Le Grand Poirier and Les Borderies. The age of the vines varies between 5 and 129 years. Two-thirds of the harvest is fermented in whole bunches, the rest being destemmed. Maceration lasts 3 weeks. The wine is aged for 12 months in barrels and 500-liter barrels .
